Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of QRankings (Quantitative US Stock Rankings) mobile application and related services offered by U8981 LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Not investment advice

QRankings is published for informational and research purposes only. Nothing in the app is a recommendation, offer, or solicitation to buy or sell any security, or to adopt any investment strategy. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Past patterns in model output do not guarantee future results. Trading and investing involve risk, including possible loss of principal.

Personal use only

The app is offered for non-professional, personal use only. You represent that you are an individual retail user and not acting on behalf of a company, fund, broker-dealer, investment adviser, or other financial or professional organization.

You may not use rankings, scores, timestamps, or any other output from the app as inputs, signals, or “alphas” in any trading system, portfolio model, or investment process. You may not scrape, export, redistribute, or systematically record this content for commercial or professional purposes. You may not use the app’s output to train, fine-tune, validate, or otherwise develop any quantitative or machine-learning model. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these restrictions.

What the app provides

The app displays ranked lists of U.S. listed stocks based on numerical scores produced by our proprietary systems at fixed capture times during market sessions. Scores are relative within the published universe at that moment—not buy or sell signals, price targets, or forecasts of profitability. Rankings may lag the underlying market. We do not warrant that data, scores, or rankings are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

Accounts

Access to certain features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity under your account.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Some features require a paid subscription after any free trial offered at the time of purchase.
  • Subscriptions are sold through Apple In-App Purchase and are subject to Apple’s terms and payment policies.
  • Unless otherwise stated at purchase, we offer a 1-week free trial, after which your subscription renews automatically at $19.99 per month (or the price shown in the App Store for your region) unless you cancel before the trial ends.
  • Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID account settings under Subscriptions.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies. We do not process refunds directly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or models from the service
  • Circumvent access controls, subscription checks, or rate limits
  • Use automated means to access the API or app content except as we expressly permit
  • Use the service in violation of applicable law

Intellectual property

The app, rankings, scores, software, and related content are owned by U8981 LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal use in accordance with these Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, U8981 LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless U8981 LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for operational or legal reasons. You may stop using the app at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which U8981 LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where preempted by applicable federal law.
